Worst customer service for online order

I have purchased the product and came damaged. Contacted several times to the customer service to return/replace the product. They said that they will replace it and took the refrigerator but never was able to deliver the new product. Multiple escalations happened. They took two months to return my money. This is not incentivized review. Worst customer service I have ever seen. This is after escalating to their Customer retaliations Presidents office. They say this product is discontinued yet they keep changing the price and is still listed online for purchase. Horrible.

I have purchased this product on end of Feb 2024. While the product was brought down from the truck it was damaged and they took it back and said LG will contact me and re-order the new one. However LG never called me and I had to call them to place a replacement order for their fault. I was told that it will be delivered in a week. But the refrigerator went to out of stock status online. I was told that the product was back ordered and is on its way and asked me to check weekly. Within next week while the product was in out of stock status they raised the price to $1000 more. But they keep telling me that the product is on its way without ETA. On first week of May I got a email stating that the product is no longer available to purchase and asked me to buy other fridge of much higher price. They do have the alternate color available to ship to other zip codes. This is certainly an unethical business practice. They still have my money with them for over 2 months and no refund is issued yet. And cancelled the order without any alternate option. If the brand like LG is doing this unethical business practice of selling a product and not honoring the price knowingly it is really really BAD. I cant trust the brand anymore. I have escalated this to the President of NA. Hope they address this issue

Worst customer service in America.

Buy from another vendor 4/3/2024

Product delivered was damaged and the door could not close. I was told I would get an other refrigerator shipped. Waited two days for shipping information and called back. I was told it would be expedited. Three days later I received a call that the refrigerator was end of life and I could buy the more expensive version. When I asked to speak to a manager they would not transfer me. I was told I would have to wait for 24-48 hours for them to call me back. They issued a refund which took over two weeks. All in all LG had my money for three weeks. The absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

Have had the LG refrigerator for a little over a year now and while it keeps cold things cold the craft ice maker quit working within the first three months. The good news is that we bought the extended warranty the bad news is that LG cannot find anyone local to repair or replace the craft ice maker.

I bought the refrigerator in January of this year. I love it. It has great area for storage of all my items. Love the flip of the shelf to accommodate extra tall items. The craft ice maker is awesome but we did have to replace the ice maker 7 months after buying. Hoping that was just a fluke and not going to be an issue. The big ice cubes are great for coolers and drinks. They are much slower to melt.

DO NOT BUY THE CRYSTAL ICE OPTION. I am sure they do not want this review. Every board ice tray and electronic except for the control panel has been replaced. NO FIX AND STILL NO CRYSTAL ICE. Have run out of warranty and am now on extended warranty. Even the Techs which have come out say none of these new parts will fix this problem.

My third LG refrigerator

I have the best luck with LG refrigerators and I am in love with their counter depth refrigerators because they dont take up so much room in my kitchen. The size is just right for one or two people. The only downside is the filters. I have the new 1000L filter but disappointed in the performance. The water ice cubes taste like chlorine. It may be filtering out other substances but this is my whole reason for having filtered water. My water is generally pretty good but I still have to use a Britta pitcher to get rid of the chlorine taste.

This LG refrigerator is high quality and loaded with features. The warning sound and notification to my phone if a door left ajar is fantastic. Shelf organization temperature control freezer space water / ice dispenser are all top notch. My favorite feature is the craft ice which are a perfect fit for a high ball glass. Everything looks and feels top quality especially the fascade which is striking.

In the 10 months Ive had service and had to have my secondary ice maker replaced twice. Its hooked up to wifi and LG can let me know when Im having a problem. LG knows they have a problem with this ice maker and have done everything to fix it. Its working great. The service people that have come out have been great. My service technician is very polite and very knowledgeable. My whole kitchen is LG also when we moved into our new home last year we put 8 TVs in they are all LG. So I would say Im a LG customer.

Love the fridge it has nice features and modern look. Craft Ive maker was an important feature for me. Disappointing that it stopped working in about a year and a half. LG did extend the manufactures warranty. Which is an indication there is a problem with them.

We like the Refrigerator. It is counter depth so smaller but enough for us. The door ice and water dispensers are better engineered than many. We really like the golf-ball-sized craft ice it makes though we had some issues at first LG showed us how to get it on track. This large ice maker in the top freezer is in addition to the small cube ice maker in the refrigerator door. However we live in Texas where we go through ice Just know that the craft ice maker takes up just over 1/3rd of the top freezer space. So decide if ice or space is more valuable to you. There was a ding on the door on installation--not sure if installers did this or not. But LG replaced the door. We bought this through COSTCO and had to go a couple of confusing rounds with them and LG to get these items addressed. But when the local LG rep showed up he was great efficient and helpful.

I like the sliding shelf we had that in our old fridge and it is really handy. I really enjoy the water and ice outside the fridge however I do wish the cubed ice didnt stick together so quickly maybe we dont use it enough. We really enjoy our craft ice however we have never had perfectly round full balls and at one point they started coming out smaller. I cleared out the tray and they started over pretty normal sized again. The bummer is that the craft ice tray will get full of little shards of ice when it dispenses the ball from its form. You have to manually clear all that out if you dont want build up. The deli drawer is great but I accidentally dropped something on it and the lid cracked. It took ages to try to get through to someone to get a replacement part and we still dont have the part yet nor do we know if it is coming with instructions on how to replace it. They wouldnt send me a tech to get the work done. So unfortunately that piece of plastic is a little cheap.

Have had this fridge for about 6 months. Overall a nice fridge but having some ice issues. About 2 weeks ago had to have the craft ice maker replaced. Now have a code from the main ice maker. Looks like that will need to be replaced as well. Not sure if this bodes well long term. Glad I bought a 5 year warranty

We replaced every appliance in our kitchen with LG brand and Im so happy that we did I love the craft ice. We live in Arizona and our drinks wont get watery as fast with the craft ice cubes. The two drawer freezer makes it so much easier to find things in the freezer
