I bought this refrigerator a year and a half ago from Costco thank goodness I had the two-year protection plan from the Costco extended warranty because the refrigerator stopped getting cool. The freezer worked. I had ice cubes but the refrigerator part was not cooling after four attempts with a technician coming to my house He finally fixed a problem which was a damper and also the craft ice stopped working but had that fixed too

The refrigerator is beautiful and well made but if you use a lot of ice this one is NOT for you. The ice in theThin Ice maker in the upper door freeses together on one side and prevents the ice from making more even though one side is empty. The craft ice maker is slow and has been replaces twice during my time of ownership. The refrigerator temperture has been checked and the gaskets replaced No pronlems have been found. Its just a bad design.

I have had this refrigerator for 14 months and love it the Instaview is very nice and helps keep drinks handy. The craft ice is great for entertaining cocktails and my daughter likes to put them in her large to go water containers. The in door ice is great too. I see a lot of people complain about the in door ice and craft ice. For the in door ice you need to open it every few days and break up anything stuck together. For the craft ice do not let more than 1 layer of balls form otherwise the makers will get stuck. As long as you follow this common sense you will be fine. In case it does get stuck a reset always did the trick for me.

Great fridge. Lots of room with multiple ways to move shelving around to accommodate your needs. Ample freezer space with both drawers. I love it. Its connected to WiFi and will let you know if theres an issue. It will actually notify LG and they will contact you to resolve the problem. Great. Now the part I dont love. The craft ice maker freezers up and is difficult to reset and get going again. Ive had a second one installed under warranty easily with no issues other than the fact the second one froze up again as well. I was able to get it reset and working again for awhile but it froze up again so Im without the craft ice for time being. This fridge is large.

I would give it a 3 1/2 but thats not an option. Starting in October we were having problems with the Craft Ice Maker. We had to turn it off and back on several times a week then in November it stopped altogether. We were sent the part to repair the ice maker ourselves. Long story short it took over 2 hours with the help of our much younger nephew and his wife. The freezer shelves did not come out as shown in the video. Screws stripped in the ice maker. Very disappointing. We finally got it replaced but not entirely correct but it is now working probably better then when we first got the refrigerator. The refrigerator itself is very roomy and holds a lot. The bins are good size. We dont have to use the garage refrigerator like we used to. The door ice maker has to be emptied once a week because the ice clumps together and you cannot get the ice to dispense. The freezer compartments are good size as well.

I bought the refrigerator over a year ago. The refrigerator and greaser function really nicely and it is played out really nice. It offers many different ways to organize and store food. The adjustments in the shelves make it easy to store taller items. The front door makes it convenient to grab items from the front without opening the main door. My only complaints are the craft ice maker and the customer support. My ice maker broke after about 6 months and then it was replaced. To get service there is a ton of self checking and resetting that is needed before they send out a service tech. A few months after my ice maker was replaced it stopped working. Still under warranty I called for service and got the same run around and . I did all the steps I did previously and lg didnt send a tech out. Instead I was to wait a day or two to see if all the resets fixed the problem which it didnt. Called back again and was asked to perform all the steps again. My ice maker still does not work and now my warranty is also expired.

Now that Ive had time to use the refrigerator I can give an accurate review. The fridge is beautiful its an eye-catcher for sure. I thought the see-through Knock feature would be more helpful but my family and I have not used it much. We like that part of the door which allows us to get to used items more often without opening the entire door. Its probably my favorite feature so far. The app will enable me to make setting adjustments from my phone. The craft ice is also on the gimmicky side. It takes up space in your freezer and only produces six balls per day max. In my opinion its not worth it. The balls are not completely round but have a flat bottom. They do look nice in your drinks Some negatives are that condensation builds up in food containers making spoilage faster there also should be some lights in the freezer compartments which are larger than I expected and the buttons for the ice and water dispensers should light up when a cup is placed under it. Overall Its a solid unit and I do recommend it. With a few changes Ive mentioned the next generation of fridges should be excellent.

I bought this refrigerator seven months ago. I like the instaview door my husband uses it all the time to grab his drinks. I like the double freezer as I use the top drawer for the things I use more often. I wish the bottom portion of the freezer had a light but that is not a big deal. If you have a large family the refrigerator section may not be for you since I dont think the capacity is very big. It is not an issue for me. I like the deli drawer. The craft ice maker stopped working and has been replaced and is now working fine. It is a good looking refrigerator this is my second LG refrigerator.

Door compartment is not designed to get cold. Dont think youre going to be storing your milk or anything else that needs to be refrigerated in the door. With the fridge set to 35 degrees the door stays 10 degrees warmer. There is no way to get the door to a safe storage temperature without turning the fridge into a freezer. This is not a flaw with my refrigerator according to LG this is by design and expected behavior. It is for condiments which is interesting since it still stored them in the danger zone for bacteria. It is about the right temperature for wines so if you want to store things that dont actually need refrigerated for quick access then this is the fridge for you. If youd like to actually keep everything in your fridge cold keep looking.

For the most part we are completely in love with our fridge. It is roomy with lots of compartments to store all of our food whether in big or small containers. The only problem we have had is with the craft icemaker after 6 months. It quit working and it is taking some time to get it fixed in the small town/area that we live in. We love our craft ice balls and want them back - just waiting for the repair to happen.

This is a great refrigerator that serves up 3 kinds of ice and water. It has door for frequently used items so you dont have to open up the refrigerator every time you need something like butter or milk. Its quiet and looks beautiful. We bought this 15 months ago and the cooling fan has already died. We have to pay for repairs and currently have a fan in the kitchen blowing on the condenser to prevent it from overheating. A brand new fridge shouldnt have these problems. Get something else.

Ive had this refrigerator for about two weeks. Had issue with water taste. The filter is very difficult to insert and activate. Much more twisting pressure needed than the old 2008 French door I replaced. Still getting used to new layout. Be aware there is no light for the bottom freezer drawer on this unit. I am hopeful the plastic taste in the water dissipates over time. Ice dispensers make ice quickly. I may submit another review in the next few months.

Received this refrigerator on Nov. 16 2022. It is a great fridge except for the ice makers. The indoor maker often the ice gets jamed with ice stuck together. The craft ice still has a funny taste to it after 2 momths. Tech support promised to send a replacement ice filter over a month ago but it has never come. Other than the ice issues it is a superior fridge.
