Nice size but has issues

I love the size of the fridge. You can fit so much in it. But its loud and the water started tasting weird from the dispenser just a couple months into having it. Now when it goes into defrost mode the size vibrates really loudly and it sounds like water is hitting something hot. I just dont think it was worth the expense. I also put in a request for service about a month ago and still havent heard back....

On October 30 2023 I called and talked with a rep about repairing my refrigerator. The light is on to change the filter. I was told that a person would be to my home on November 3 between 12 and 5pm. That appointment never happened. On Friday November 3 I spoke with some who said I would see them later that day. Again a no show.

I purchased this refrigerator because of the style and roominess. It holds plenty of tall bottles and condiments on the shelves and has room for additional items on the doors. I like having the ice on the bottom yet having the convenience of water in the door. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator.

I will never purchase another LG product again Nobody want to service LG refrigerators. Call LG service direct for warrenty service an appointment was set up and noebody showed that day and no call. Lucily I had taken out an exrended warrenty through Lowes where I purchased it and they sent someone out. Talking to service companies that wouldnt come out thet all said that LG compressors were terrivble.

The refrigerator has many wonderful features both utilitarian and ascetic. The tap on inner door light is nifty but we really dont utilize it all that much. The water/ice dispenser works well and we use it daily. We also enjoy the craft ice feature which makes round ice balls and keeps summer drinks cool. Unfortunately an error code appeared which apparently is related to the freezer fan. LG was notified and had a repair facility reach out to me. It took a week to hear from them and another week for them to show up. They ordered the hopefully appropriate parts and scheduled a return visit to install them in 2 more weeks. We are still awaiting the parts to arrive and the service to be completed. In the past LG had no repair people in our area so to their credit they are striving to improve their service.

This refrigerator is only 8 months old. The ice maker stopped working it took 6 phone calls to get some one out to look at it. There is 3 parts ordered to replace sensors etc. Now parts are backorder and my appointment needs to be rescheduled. The hole experience has been poor terrible. I would not recommend lg again.

Disappointing refrigerator filter. After one filter change it no longer accepts the OEM filter. I have to modify the filter for them to fit. Ice machine is noisy. And model does not have an air filter. Water dispenser often difficult to use without spills.

I purchased this fridge a few months ago and I am loving it. So much room easy access due to the french doors verses a side by side. Only Con the on/off button for the ice maker down below is a little hard to access. Overall my fridge is stylish and I still have space for more food.

I have loved it up until the refrigerator fan quit working two weeks ago. I had a service company out a weeks ago and I have yet to hear back from them. The reason I gave 4* instead of 5*. A refrigerator less then two years old should not have this kind of problem. Two weeks without a refrigerator is wreaking havoc on my household

I have owned this refrigerator for 26 months and never had a problem with this unit but. This week the refrigerator section of the unit quite cooling. I called LG Service and pleased with the service until they figured out that the refrigerator was out of warranty at that point I was referred to some videos on YouTube and shown the door I felt like I was left to fin for myself. So I did. I watched all sorts of videos on YouTube some were helpful and some were not. I decided to try a manual defrost and unplugged the refrigerator for 3 days. I cleaned everything that could be cleaned and changed the water filter when I plugged the refrigerator back in it started cooling right away. Its been a week and its still humming away like new. A little more help from the service people would have been helpful but I guess that may be asking too much. 4 out of 5 is good but not great.

I havent hooked up the water or ice yet but im sure that will be great too. Poor Icemaker

I bought this in Jan 2023 and have issues with the ice maker making sufficient ice. Tried calling once in the begging but they where having me try to make all these changes which where impossible. Called again later on which was most recently and they had no service techs available so I was offered to fix it myself replacing the ice maker which I was able to change out successfully. BUT it still takes forever to make ice. And NO the freezer is not opened frequently and yes there is a sufficient flow of water.

Huge Fridge

We have had this fridge for a year now. It is almost perfect. The huge interior has plenty of space for all of our food. It is easy to keep clean and the stainless steel stays very nice. Drawers open super easily and hold a lot. The water dispenser is great with good pressure and doesnt dribble when you stop filling. I like the size of the ice cubes and that the ice maker is in the freezer and not taking up valuable fridge space. Things I wish were a little different: Our milk goes bad more quickly if we keep it in the doorso we now keep it on the bottom shelf I wish the bottom cheese and meat drawer was just a 1/2 taller to accommodate containers that we keep cheese and meat in lastly the ice maker cant keep up with our family of four and we have to supplement with ice trays.

I bought this product 2 years ago. Works great and its very spacious. The main reason I chose this fridge is because the water dispenser does not take up the door holders. Very spacious. We are a family of 5 so the freezer gets full quite often but I have a deep fridge so everything works fine for me. Great buy

We bought this at the beginning of June after our 15 year old LG Fridge died. Our old model was 31 cu FT which is why we went with this one. Likes: 1. Ice maker moved to freezer opens up so much more space on the door that it is actually usable now. 2. Ice maker makes more ice. 3. Everything else was pretty much the same so we love it. Dislikes Only 1 really is the fact that you can not disable the alarm permanently. The best you can do is enable Sabbath mode but it only last 4 days.

Great Fridge - but water filter menace to change

Very happy with the fridge it is relatively simple and does what it is supposed to do except for one issue. The water filter is incredibly difficult actually impossible to change. Ive bought an LG replacement filter followed all online videos and even spoken with customer service. The new filter simply does not click into place. Last week I called customer service and asked them to recommend a servicer to come help me with this task and I got hung up on. Fridge is great but changing the water filter is impossible.
