The product should last longer the 4 years. Our refrigerator stops cooling ice melts and floods the kitchen through the front door ice and water. But that nit the kicker at all. Call LG help line find out the refrigerator is covered under a warranty. Make 5 calls to the help line and set up 5 appointments for service call. Only one guy calls for a virtual service call but he cant help because it is the wrong address on his virtual service call What the hell Still waiting on the other 4 calls. Been with out a refrigerator for days. Went out and bought a new refrigerator that is not a LG. Way to go LG you have lost a customer for life. I cant wait to get all the other LG products out of my house

Ive had my LG fridge for a while and it has performed very well overall. The thought of a smart fridge might sound useless to some but notifications of stuck ice and the ability to run a self diag are useful. When a service was recently required an LG technician promptly came out and took care of it.

Even a 1 is too high of a score. You call and wait for 25 - 40 minutes to get someone who you cannot understand. You ask to speak to a Manager and you get mouth as to why you want to talk to a Manager Customer support did not follow up within 3 business days as promised Very unhappy

Have had this refrigerator for almost 5 years. The compressor has been replaced once. The control panel for the water/ice dispenser was replaced for a second time today. A switch controlling that dispenser replaced once. I do love the door in door feature and the capacity. I am hoping to buy another extended warranty my 5 year ends in July.

Beautiful refrigerator if freezer worked

We purchased this refrigerator almost 4 years ago. Two months ago the freezer quit freezing.I called and texted LG repair service numerous times. I have purchased several new refrigerators throughout my 81 years and never had any problem. I just wanted the newer technology and they all worked when we replaced them with more years than this one. It looks beautiful BUT if problems arise there are NO repairmen to fix them. LG repair has made lots of promises but they have never come through. It is being replaced by a brand that I know has repair service. Of course now with supply problems we hadve to wait between 3-6 weeks for delivery .

Weve had our LG refrigerator for 3 1/2 years and have had two warranty fixes. This last one resulted in the frig stopping entirely while we on vacation. We lost ALL our food. That was on Sept. 20. We cant get anyone to fix it until Oct. 12 AND we discovered there was a class action lawsuit against LG because of this very issue of a faulty compressor. My fear now is that they will put in the same darn thing and Ill be calling again in 3 years. Stay away from LG for refrigerators.

Great look price great features--except for one

The freezer on my side by side stopped working so a new frig was a have to. I love the look of the black stainless I really like the door in the door and the freezer drawer features. I was told it had a small ice maker but that is an understatement. The water dispenser doesnt really chill and occasionally leaks but is super fast fill. The ice/water dispenser is the only think I dont like about the unit.

We bought our refrigerator in November of 2018 in April 2019 a mere six months after purchase it broke down. We were without a refrigerator for 2 weeks waiting for a technician to contact us ordering the part and installed. The repair was made needed a new motherboard. Then in May of 2019 the refrigerator broke down a second time this time we went without a refrigerator for approximately 3 weeks. Talk about dissatisfied with your purchase that is an understatement. Repairs were all done free of charge because we bought a warranty from the place of purchase thank God we did. We have not had any other issues thus far.

When will our fridge be fixed...?

We have had our fridge since July and have been in contact with LG to fix/replace some lose parts on the door for months now. The basket on the inside of the door doesnt fit securely to the door and is a constant problem. This is with only a few items on the shelves. Poorly engineered or assembled wrong at the factory not sure the cause but we are very frustrated at their slow response time to address this matter.

I got this refrigerator just 5 weeks ago. Its great. There are 2 things though. First I wish the ice dispenser was a little faster and that it would stop ice into the bin in the freezer. This way you would have enough when you need it. Second I love the deli tray but wish I didnt have to open both doors to get to it. Maybe it could be 2 separate drawers instead of 1

I am so happy with this LG refrigerator. The black stainless steel is what everyone notices as soon as they see the refrigerator. They all ask what is that color and how beautiful it is. As a heads up other manufacturers label their product as black stainless steel but they all differ slightly. LGs is not to dark so that it looks like a black appliance and also is not as light as stainless steel. Its an absolutely wonderful combination of both spectrums. The ice maker in the door allows so much more room in the refrigerator. Albeit a smaller ice maker there is a designated receptacle in the freezer drawer to accommodate additional storage of ice when you need it. The door in door feature is also convenient. I put my condiments butter and other items I use numerous times throughout the day. This refrigerator fit into the same space as my old side by side fridge but seemed to double my storage.

I found this new refrigerator at Home Depot for a little over what American Home Shield had offered me. Its an LG 27 cubic foot and it has every feature of my old one plus more shelf and freezer space. It is a black stainless steel color and I love it. Its convenient for a family with kids because I can store their beverages and snacks in the door compartments for quick retrieval. The best feature is the ice maker location being inside the door compartment thus giving you more shelf space. It really makes a difference. I love it so far

I love the door in door feature. Very handy to have drinks in there for quick access. And the ice maker being in the door itself saves SOOOO much room instead of having a bulky tray in the freezer or the maker hanging in the top of the frig. Lots of room.

I enjoy the appearance and quiet operation of this unit. My wife really likes the 3rd door idea. I like the ice maker storage tray. For a 6 x 3 space it seems to be a lot of storage. Access to the freezer compartment is great Consumer Report Magazine gives great reviews.

I bought this after looking at features as well as checking out consumer reviews. So here is what I like about this refrigerator: lots of light great amount of space including the freezer which I was so lacking in my former fridge. I like the digital display but still havent figured out the WiFi which doesnt seem to be working for me. Also the door on the left closes great but the right side needs a good push. The ice maker is good but the crushed ice tends to go everywhere so the design of the hole it exits from still needs work. The button door is nice to grab things from but it does take some time to remember it. In spite of those things I still think I will keep it.

Great refrigerator but...

I bought this refrigerator 11 months ago and it is wonderful in so many ways. However a month ago it stopped working electrical problem and was replaced. Ignoring the two weeks we were without a refrigerator the new unit will only be covered under warranty for 1 month. This maybe an unusual event but is a source of concern. It is for this reason that I didnt give it 5 stars.
