Love this refrigerator Roomy with ice on the door you have a lot more space. Ice and water in door work perfectly. Actual ice cubes not a bunch of broken chips. Large freezer holds a lot of food. You can turn off the ice maker in freezer section and just use the ice in the door. Thats what we do and then can turn on when having a party or just need more ice. Very nice feature.

I have owned this refrigerator for almost 4 1/2 years. For the most part it has functioned well. The ice maker is prone to problems doesnt handle my towns higher water pressure well requires frequent cleaning of hard water deposits. Last month the compressor died a poor showing less than 5 years for a modern refrigerator. Apparently this is common enough that the good people at LG agreed to have it repaired at no cost to me - very nice. The downside was waiting for the parts to arrive and the repair to be done. In all the fridge was inoperable for 18 days which really cramped my 1st-world privileged lifestyle.

Okay fridge from what available

I had to buy this refridgerator as I did not like any other models or they did not fit our kitchen size or colorwise. This one appears large but it is small as it does not have any flexibility with the shelves previous fridge we had was eqiuped with aa foldable shelf to make more space for milk etc. Now we fit only two gallons of milk on the door and that is it. The water dispenser continues to dispense water with a chemical smell and aftertaste. I have called several times and trie dot explain I have purchase d already 3 water filters to see if any can remove the bad taste. So far no positive results and I am on filter number 3 or 4.

STOPPED WORKING AFTER 4 MONTHS

Great fridge - loved it for 4 months and then it stopped working. LG offered to send a technician to repair it but not for A WEEK after it stopped working. What are we supposed to do for a week without a fridge? Do they do that on purpose so you just call a private repair? Extremely disappointed. This was our first major appliance purchase - our next one will not be LG.

Purchased this fridge 5 months ago and love the size storage water and ice dispenser BUT here I am following the loud annoying squealing noise in the middle of the night. What to I fun? I am so happy that I bought this fridge. It replaced my prior LG refrigerator. Compared to the old one this one has lot more space inside and is designed better with extra shelfs on the doors which gives more space inside. Also the freezer has better storage and is designed better that the older one.

We brought this refrigerator the end if last year it fit in the alloted space perfectly. Love the color wide doors and lots of space inside keeps the food great and we have noticed how much longer things keep before you have to throw it away. But to be honest we are not throwing things away like our last refrigerator. So this is a win win product. The only reason I didnt give it a 5 star is because we have had an issue with the water part but we have been given ideas to try before someone might have to have a look why the water and ice are tasting nasty.

Could Be Better

The majority of the functionality is good. Unfortunately the connector for the water filter has a fatal design flaw. There are several YouTube videos on this topic. LG is fully aware of the problem. They sent me a video on how to fix it myself with a needle nose pliers and a screwdriver. It didnt work. But the issue should not exist in the first place. If they can build a refrigerator they should be able to build a sturdy connection for a water filter.

Bought in November due to failure of previous refrigerator. Shopped around and consistently heard LG as one of the top refrigerators sold at our appliance stores. Got a really good deal. Love the space and being able to move or remove shelves to make it more custom for my families needs. Love the fresh option. Would definitely recommend to family and friends

Picked this refrigerator because it would fit it had dual ice makers and because of the positive reviews. We use a lot of ice and now we have plenty. The ice cubes are smaller than previous ice maker. I also seem to have more room in the fridge even though it is supposed to be smaller than my previous refrigerator. It is so bright inside that there is no problem seeing everything inside. The crisper is large enough for my salad keepers. The only thing I miss is the little section at the top front of the freezer section but I am sure I will get used to that. It is also very pretty. Have only had it two weeks but so far am very pleased.

Love the layout except for the bottom drawer and having to have both doors open to access it. The water filter still has a horrible taste after a month of using it.

First I love the design and layout of this refrigerator. It works very well for us with the shelves drawers spacing French doors and freezer drawer. However the bad thing is that wed been using this refrigerator for 3 months and it started making a noise thats gotten louder and louder--and more frequent. We think its the compressor. I took a video of it so I have the noise recorder. Then I called LG since I should be under warranty. Interestingly they said that my fridge is out of warranty unless I can show when it was delivered which I can. Apparently my fridge was made more than 2 years ago and was just sitting in a warehouse somewhere? Anyway I will be calling back with proof of my delivery date and then I hope to get a warranty repair. The noise is pretty obnoxious. As I said I like this fridge a lot however I would definitely recommend getting this fridge WITH AN ADDITIONAL WARRANTY.

Funny that this review opportunity has come as I am waiting for the fridge to be fixed. Its been 11 days since the part was ordered and now its going to be another week before the fridge will be repaired. No one should have to be without a fridge for that long We bought the fridge in July as part of a bullders.package. We moved into the house in late September. I believe we should have gotten more than 7 months of use. So frustrating

Best purchase I have ever made. Love that there is an ice maker on the door and the inside of the freezer. Makes ice quickly. A lot of space in both the refrigerator and freezer. Love that i can control the temperature and other features from the LG Thinq app

Extra ice maker

I get this model in September 2022 and happy to buy it . This model have extra ice maker in frizzer section and you can get more ice when you have guest or party . If you do not need the extra ice you can turn off it and remove the ice storage and use it the space as freezer section

I bought it in September and it work perfect . The main advantage of this model is ice maker . This model have two ice make . One in the door and other in freezer part . So you have a lot of ice for party If you do not want extra ice maker in freezer you can turn it off and take out the ice storage and use the space as freezer part . space

I think this is a pretty popular fridge because I ordered it in November and it came in at the end of February The design with the freezer on the bottom is so issuer friendly. I love that there is a large ice bin in the bottom and a smaller ice dispenser along with the water on the door. My only issue is that the shelves on the door dont seem to be adjustable. I reorganized and made it work but otherwise its wonderful. And magnets stick to the front too

I bought this 3 weeks ago and the water dispenser puts out terrible tasting water. Had a very similar LG fridge prior to this one and my grandkids would fill their glasses from the dispenser all the time. With this new fridge it gives an awful taste to the water even I wont drink it. The fridge will not cool below 39.5 F unless you turn the freezer down to -6 the lowest it will go then the fridge will cool to 34.5 F. Not very happening with LG.
