Unreliable Dishwasher Although It Cleans Well

The dishwasher cleans dishes well however it is not very reliable. We bought this in 8/2021 and by 11/2023 it stopped working. While the issue was the motor and was covered by the warranty it only covers parts. The labor cost us $280. Well now with a new motor the dishwasher is now making a noise again 1 month after the motor was replaced. This is a 2 year d dishwasher We are disappointed since less expensive dishwasher we got before this one lasted 15+ years. Im not sure if we just got a bad dishwasher like a car that just has issues but we are unhappy. And before the motor started going it was a quiet model. The extra rack is nice for cutlery and plastic lidd.

I purchased this dishwasher thinking that it was a good model. It has gone beyond the good range straight to absolutely great I love the adjustments in the racks so my larger pots fit. Since its winter I make a lot of soups and sauces using stock pots and I fit 2 on the bottom and my food processor on the top its great not having to hand wash some of them.

Bought this 10 months ago will never by LG again. Dishwasher has leaked from the door for the last 2 months. Have been trying to get it fixed for 2 months LG only has one service they use in my area. That is my big issue. The dishwasher may be decent but the fact I have been trying for 2 months 2 get the leaking dishwasher fixed is the main reason I will not by LG again. Also do not like the air dry system we have let it dry all night still does not dry them like a heated dry.

We bought our machine 2018 it runs and looks new even today- but the baskets are such poor quality its astounding. They are rusted I assume due to poor seals on the baskets not being thick enough to handle the high heat the machine can produce. Ive worked with their amazing tech support and was expecting to get two replacement baskets but they only sent they top but no bottom. Replacement baskets would cost me half the cost of the actual machine. So when I go to replace this machine it will not be with an LG. I expect better quality.

Loud Dry Cycle

Right after purchasing our LG dishwasher there was a high pitched noise during the dry cycle. We have dealt with the problem for over a month and it is still not right. LG delayed addressing it and now they are trying to replace the control panel and the fan for drying. It is a lemon and we are very upset LG is not honoring their high reputation and replacing it.

High Pitched Noise

Weve had this for about 30-days now. In all fairness it cleans well dries moderately well and is relatively quiet during the wash cycle. However beginning with the drying cycle there is a high Pitched whine that sets your teeth on edge. It continues after the drying cycle ends and is worse than any washing noise. We got the machine on the 15th of March 2021 and finally called LG to get it fixed on the 23 of April. Not impressed so far as the technician on the phone claimed the noise was from food stuck in the machine or scale buildup - I was a bit annoyed as it has made this noise from the first day we got it. Now we have to wait till May 11 for a repairman to come and look at it. Will update this as time goes on. For now be very careful if you decide to purchase this model the noise will set your teeth on edge

Strange cycles

When dishwasher is run with a fairly full load the wash cycle seems to always stay at 36 minutes on the display. LG service was contacted and board was replaced. It still now stays on 36 for several minutes before advancing on. Unfortunately I have the black finish which makes it very difficult to see the controls on the front panel.

Electronics failed at 13 months

The motherboard had to be replaced and although part is warrantied for 5 years labor was on me. Dishwasher had a draining problem so another part had to be ordered to fix draining issue. The new motherboard is also defective and will need to be repaired/replaced.

So far not good we have owned LG in the past and very happy with them so we purchased a top load washer. We have company coming and did some bedding under large load cycle for the first time. In the spin cycle something let loose and now we have water poring out of the bottom. It seems the tub has a week stabilization for counter balance in the high speed spin. Now were having a hard time finding an LG certified tech to fix it. Regardless If this is an engineering defect of the tub stabilizer at high speed and continues to happen under large loads this machine is worthless.

Very Quite and Cleans well

This LG Dishwasher is very quiet with the exception of the drying exhaust fan. The fan makes a very high pitch frequency while running. We simply run it at night so no one hears it. It cleans great and so far we have no issues. The drying cycles do cause it to run longer than dishwashers using a heating element but using AUTO seems to dry everything. One other minor issue is that this unit is setup to connect to a smart device but is not compatible with iOS devices. Overall its a great dishwasher and cleans well

Clean and dry dishes

I basically bought this dishwasher because it was the only one available before May It cleans very well and drys well. I love the stainless steel tub also. Some things that arent so great....smaller room on the bottom because the silverware rack is not on the door like my last one. Also it hums for a long time after the cycle is done. I like the controls on the outside but they are hard for me to see. All that being said it is a great dishwasher and the price was perfect.

Great cleaning

OK I have only used my dishwasher twice since installed on 12/31/20. So many different cycles options can be confusing. My only complaint is that when the cycle is finished the power light does not go off. Maybe someone can tell me why. I have asked and get not one answer regarding that question. Anyone out there that can give me an answer?????

You buy a smart tv thinking you get get to watch anything you would like but not with LG. You cant get the apps you like olnly the one they choose for you. Very disappointed aboout that. But happy about the easy way to install tv very easy. And great picture with great colors

Dishwasher repair

I bought dishwasher in December however because of delivery problems didnt get installed till March. Dishwasher worked well till my kitchen sink clogged. I then had an AC error light and noise to go off. I had to call for repair after we waited for it to dry out for 72+ hours by removing the kickboard.

I bought this before Christmas it had a defective drain line LG contracted with a repair company. It is now January 12th the repair had not be made. I have not been able to use it at all. I cant say anything bad about the product or LG. I just want it repaired.

Weve had this for only a couple years 3 max and use it maybe 2-3 times a week. It turns off whenever it wants does random cycles and doesnt dry anything.
