excellent product with some shortcomings

I did not see the oven in operation in the showroom. There are two important criticisms and one minor one. Important: 1) the beeping sound even a maximum volume is very low; 2) the display is very bright even when only time is displayed. A minor inconvenience is the long time it takes to reach temperature. The control panel has just been replaced because sound level and display brightness. The replacement had the same issues. Because of product being in short supply, it was not in the show room to view in operation. You graciously replaced the control panel. .

36 years old GE built in oven ...

I just replace my GE wall oven that was over 36 years old . 20 years ago we had to replace an element . That was the extent of the repairs . This oven was great ! I just purchased a new one and I hope I get the same great service out of it. All of my products are GE. The next will be a new washer and dryer. By the way , my stove top with a down draft is also 36 year old ! GE is a great product. Thank you

I felt this oven was kind of pricey, but so far has lived up to my expectations. Love the temp probe pretty accurate and very easy to use. the clean cycle can use either a steam or a normal self-cleaning mode. I like the even heat it cooks most roasts or assorted dishes. I would be hard-pressed to come up with a bunch of negative comments, if you buy this oven I really don't think you will be disappointed.

Oven was good but the timing notice sound is too weak and the programming volumn adjustment didnt give it enough change to make a difference. Customer service told me thats as good as it gets, no other way to improve it.

We love the way this oven looks in our kitchen. The black on black color scheme complements you wood kitchen cabinets nicely. This 27" wall oven replaced a 20 year old white GE so there were no installation issues at all, it just slipped right in. This oven is dead on with the temperature ranges and we love the slide out shelf. All and all we love this GE product.

An Efficient, Sturdy Oven

This oven replaced one of another brand that served well for 20 years. The new GE oven seems to be quite efficient (has good insulation) because it seems to cool slowly after shutting off the power. The door feels sturdy when opening and closing. That is one item that emits a quality impression. The convection baking setting works well. The design features a bottom well where water can be added for "steam cleaning". That also means that there is no exposed heating element except the broiler at the top. The app is fun. It notifies me when the preheat is complete. It also it displays a "baking time" so if I forget to set a timer, I know how long it has been on. One thing this oven does not have that I got used to on the old oven is low temperature capability. This oven's minimum set temperature is 170 F. The old one could go down to 110 F so one could make yogurt and dry bread. That is not a huge loss.

This oven has all the features I was looking for. I love the convection oven feature. I really like the control panel. I like how it only appears when you need to program it for cooking. I like the 1 minute warning on the timer. The only thing I would recommend, is make the timer alarm louder.

After waiting 4 months, I finally had this new oven installed to replace our KitchenAid 27 inch. I was using a private appliance business and needed an all-black unit that would fit after modifications were done and , unfortunately, made the assumption that the interior space would be equal. It is not!!!! It's like a mini oven with two tiny racks that can only accommodate one tray on each shelf. I can't even fit two muffin tins on a single rack. I just don't understand how the same cutout space could be sooooo tiny inside. And now I see why it only comes with two shelves; there's not enough height for a third!

We were forced this year to replace the 27" wall oven that came with our house after the temperature controls failed. The older oven was manufactured in 1984! - this model fit well in the existing cabinets, as advertised, BUT had to move the conduit access hole on the bottom of the cabinet towards the back an inch or so to fully insert - we love the all glass and painted front - an easy wipe keeps it looking clean - the "European convection" feature is a definite plus - fan noises are minimal; one fan runs pretty much continually to cool the electronics and the oven walls, circulating air from the top, where the controls are mounted, then through cavities between the oven box and the appliance outer shell; the breeze coming from the front of the oven was startling at first ;-); on Convection Bake the fan noise from the internal fan was not noticeable. - the pricing was competitive for the features offered Interested to see how this new appliance lasts over the years.

We just installed the wall oven today, so we did not have a chance to use it yet. It looks very sleek and beautiful in our kitchen and seems easy to operate. However, the oven came with two traditional racks instead of one traditional and one gliding rack as described as one of the oven features on your web site, and which was one of the main reasons to get this oven b/c my wife has weak arms and thought the gliding rack might help. Otherwise the oven looks good and I will update the review after using it.

I really like our new oven. Have not used all of the features yet but for now my favorite is the WiFi connection. Makes it easy to know what is going on!

Awesome Wall Oven

This oven replaced a GE wall oven that I purchased in 1996. The technology sure has advanced! The oven cooks like a dream, and it has much more interior capacity than its predecessor. And I can control it on WIFI. It has every feature an avid home cook could ever want. True, it lacks the rotisserie from the previous oven, but I never used it. If I'm going to cook something that messy, it's going to be on the grill outdoors. The sealed heating bottom element makes clean up incredibly easy.
