Good Value for a basic dishwasher

Had difficulty with flooding my kitchen in the beginning when purchased due to installation. However that was 12 years ago. I am repurchasing this product again. It is a basic dishwasher. Recommend insulating the tank when installing. It is pretty loud and the wash cycle is long. While there is never a good time to need to replace an appliance... The product lasts a decent amount of time and is value priced.

This is the standard dishwasher my apartment complex buys. It last just past warranty. Then the timer goes along with the pump. Must prewash dishes before using it. In 4 years my apartment maintenance men have had to replace twice. They always replace with the same model, because it's cheaper for them.

Decent Dishwasher

Received the dishwasher under a home warranty repair. Dishwasher is kind of small, but good enough to wash dishes in. Currently broken and have had it for less than a month. Plastic piece broke off the main housing. Currently on hold to get assistance for a repair.

We did not have a dishwasher before. We now have one. We use it every other day and find that you throughly have to rinse and even scrub dinnerware still so that the dishwasher can finish the job. It is still worth it to us as our sink in not filled daily with dishes. Finish soap is suggested by GE.

My hubby purchased my new dishwasher for me at Hardmens in Ripley, WV. They special ordered it for him because I wanted a black one to match my other appliances. I love it. It is quite. Cleans and most of all DRY'S my dishes even plastic bowls. I would recommend it and would purchase it again.

Cleans dishes very well. The design of the racks and silverware basket could be improved; the glass rows in the top rack could be just a bit wider to better fit mugs, the center tower guard in the lower rack could be a bit smaller, and the holes in the silverware basket are a bit too large (it allows tapered handled silverware to stick below the basket and interfere with the spray arm). And though this might be more an issue for northern states in the winter (like New Hampshire), the main wash cycle is so long that the hot water in the supply line gets cold before the first rinse cycle starts. Also, the unit is loud, but not objectionable.

Poor Rack Design

This dishwasher is the worst design I have ever seen. The top rack is useless, nothing fits, only small juice glasses. Not able to stack small plates or dish containers in top. Cutlery holder big and clunky. I want my 1980s dishwasher back.

It came with a new house we bought. It is noisy, the racks are not designed to hold our Fiestaware cereal bowls and doesn't clean dishes unless we clean them before putting them in. The builder installed it cockeyed so we put it on our 30-day new home review to be addressed. The builder sent a tech out to seat it properly. Unfortunately it doesn't work any better. It's the worst dishwasher we've ever owned.
